That Southernmost outpost of Christianity in Ukraine during the Revolutionary War in America

this is a photo of a church outside Dnipro  Ukraine, it is a Christian Church built entirely from wood in maybe the 1600's, because I have been there, walked with that friend to the rear of that Church , seen the interiors, I think that for sure this hand hewn carpentry work is certainly from the 1700's''The thing that is pretty crazy about the military standoff in Ukraine/ on the borders of Belarus, Russia , is that both sides are basically Right wing Christian fanatics, there is not any difference of ideology, the differences relate to interpretations of History, and this is why the heart of the battle for the future of Ukraine and Russia it's about information warfare, the outcome of that, coupled with economic sanctions, social aspersions about what is cool/ not cool. These seemingly abstract places in reality exist, with numerous historical anecdotes about those places, some gapped, some bad. One has to walk the land, have your feet make the phone call to understand the place, there is simply no substitute, even such people that have vast internet resources and the luxury of time, to dissect, analyze. None of these resources have much value unless you have taken the antiquated bus from the big town to the small town, gone into this very old, old church, genuflected, and then walked around to the back to see the actual evidence of the history, Nd Honestly, I am not particularly religious, but I respect history, I respect hand hewn timbers from ancient times, these old woods have meanings, silent stories to tell. As I understand it, these timbers were placed at the same time as Boston America's "old First Church " and in Ukraine, they don't have the maintenance budget, but they do their best, the war effort, has cost some sons from this town unfortunately, yet it is such a fascinating cul de sac of history.

that is me with Alexei Fedorchenko, something like Russia's equivalent of Frederico Fellini, he is quite a famous director, these days I have been thinking about friends from Yalta Ukraine, some musician friends
