The Man Who Sold the Bees:

Perhaps the Post title sounds abstract, I won't elaborate on it. If you know the man who sold his bees, you'd understand perhaps the need for privacy. Ukraine entering the EU, it's still quite a big deal, still fresh, still evolving. It is not only a Brave New World. It is a Beautiful New World, despite the ongoing War, the painful deaths and casualties, now it is down to statistics and raw integers. Kiev is like the New Berlin (of 2005), they spin vinyl, put their phones away and talk. If you are real with them, they are real with you. Sincere compliments flow freely: it is as if the older generation wants to promote an open way of thinking, relating to their kids, create a hybrid thinking style,
something that uplinks their psychologically erudite group education matrix,  of which I still have much to learn about with the Western style of individualism and creative design. No matter how badly,  or how greatly the Verhovna Rada does things,  their Euro-maidan Revolution will move forward, things will get better : bad wounds take time to heal , repair, there will be no lineal flourish of ascendant recovery for Ukraine .

Russian Government should not anticipate forgiveness from the Man who sold his Bees, yet he may do that anyway, just for the chance to move things forward to improve  the collective lot. He has the freedom and capacity to repurchase his bees, or do whatever he wants now, as he chooses.

Sanctions on Individuals, the Russian State,  don't necessarily help Ukraine very much, in fact those sanctions can inhibit it's National economic status. Yet anybody who knows Crimea will understand it, when I write, that the Crimean Revolution won't be televised.

How is this so? , will the novice ask.  about such a place. Wouldn't this be a massively televised event if Crimea returned to Ukraine? They say that the bridge built across the Kerch Strait will only last about 15 years, maybe it will take that long, maybe sooner, last time I checked, Crimea is still attached to Ukraine by rail, by land, by road and by sentiment, history.

It is simply a relevant factor of the region's psychological lineage,  that all things important will get done face to face, wether that is a cafe, a sauna, a bar, club, restaurant, an apartment. The media optics will only emerge after the fact, of a done deal. I know Crimea well enough that I share the sentiment of Our Crimea/  Наш Крим! And honestly, I feel sad that it's inaccessible and uncertainly dangerous for now. They rushed into what they thought was a thing with better money and they only found a world filled with guns and strongmen, bound to a distant, totalitarian regime, wielding oil and energy, albeit using those tools in deft ways,  against the presumable open society agenda of the world's most powerful economies.
Yet the European Values are seductive, even if the costs are high, they can be persuaded to shift back into Ukraine's orbit, that is,  if Kiev will give them their due presence. At this moment,  it may be inconvenient to give Crimean voters a say in Ukraine's political landscape. The accountants, the lawyers, the politicians would need to work massive overtime to reach any settlement on this, but it is still possible, within our lifetimes.
Don't forget to save the cat, on your way out please. And thanks for saving!
