Marching the race machine into the Sun

A lot of strange undefinable interferences trying to finish this post today, maybe it's the geo-magnetic atmospheric disturbances extending through the World Wide Internet web?
I don't know, this is vaguely controversial material perhaps and difficult.
The United States' Navy can't steer it's ships, or some sophisticated jamming technology is messing with it's parameters? who knows?

Anything to tweak the debate about "who Is the best Boss?
who should try  to rule the 7 seas and dominate, or as Noam Chomsky has openly asked the question "Okay guys, just between us, who really does own the World ?"

Well,  I have hidden this post and debated if I should permanently delete it, for different reasons, I hate to throw away half way decent work, discards insights about things I have first hand knowledge of: the fact is that I am far more familiar with the predominantly Russian speaking part of Eastern Ukraine than I am of the Western part. I built alliances, networks of friends, people I liked and admired naturally. This post eclipse day has started out badly for me, almost depressing: depressing . It is one of those days that I need to search out a signal from my signpost people, who can help me with some perspective that is useful and real.
While I don't recall having met Denis Kazan socially, I continue to greatly admire his clever sense of humor , and original style of thinking about stuff, and his article in Inforesist is quite engaging today/
https://inforesist.org/glavnyiy-mif-ob-ukrainskom-yadernom-oruzhii/
On the outskirts of the Kirovograd region (by the way, why is it still Kirovograd?) There is a small settlement Pobuzhskoe. Near it is one of the most steep and underrated museums in Ukraine - the Museum of the Missile Forces, which is located on the territory of a closed secret military unit. In the past, our nuclear weapons were stationed there.
The museum today is the only one of its kind. There are no analogues in the world.
You can go down to the missile shaft and the underground command bunker. Look at the rocket "Satan" and tractors that could transport it. The guides at the museum are former military servicemen who used to serve in the same section, and in colorful details can explain how the whole farm worked.
That's where it's useful to visit everyone who is interested in the issue of our nuclear status. Especially amateurs to speculate about how "Kravchuk blown nuclear missiles." The main myth about Ukrainian nuclear weapons lies in the fact that we generally had nuclear weapons. In fact, the entire command system was designed in such a way that it was impossible to launch missiles from the territory of Ukraine without coordination with the headquarters in Moscow.
In fact, the Ukrainian missile forces were simply Russian missile forces located on the territory of Ukraine. Something like a military base in Sevastopol. And the Ukrainian president never had a nuclear suitcase.
In general, a good place. I'll tell you more about it in a separate post. For a fee, you can even inflict a nuclear strike. Where else can you see this?
I took the opportunity and wiped Voronezh off the face of the earth. Sorry…z'" (he is jesting)

And then another article caught my attention, it is fairly cut and dry, except that some people connected with Ukraine's military have asked the simple question thusly , if Russia is our adversary, then why  spend any money at all on a fleet of boats, boat facilities, if they can wipe those facilities off the map in 20 minutes or half an hour with their air force?
these aren't questions I am in any position to comment upon, I will simply allow their thinkers to explain the situation as they see it, thusly:
IGOR TYSZKIEWICZ
Expert of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future
A week ago on the website of the US Navy, information appeared that "Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1" had begun building the Operational Fleet Management Center, which Russian media had been dubbed "an American military base." Ukrainian officials in response to hysteria because of the curb chosen tactics of justification and argue that "foreign ships on the new base will not." Why do we need a new base and how can we talk with the world about its construction, I'll try to understand this text.

Do I need a base for the fleet?

After the annexation of the Crimea, Ukraine lost the bulk (according to some sources, up to 70%) of Navy ships. Losses in personnel left on the peninsula (having retired or going to the service to the occupiers) are no less extensive.
Those who remained loyal to the oath are forced to exploit the infrastructure of the fleet, located primarily in Odessa and Ochakov (Mykolayiv region).
As a part of the fleet, the frigate Hetman Sagaidachny, Vinnitsa corvette, Yury Onufrienko landing ship, Donbass control ship, Pereyaslav small reconnaissance ship and Genichesk sweeper were left in the fleet of large warships. The rest of the staff is a set of combat boats, special vessels, tugboats, etc. For comparison: after the occupation of Crimea, 12 Ukrainian Navy warships remained at the disposal of Russia.
Such changes in the composition of the Ukrainian Navy may raise questions about the need to build a new control center: the infrastructure of the Odessa and Mykolayiv region may well be adapted for the current state of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Moreover, in March 2017, according to Nikolai Bonya, the chairman of the Mykolaiv regional state administration, the president of Ukraine P.Poroshenko signed a decree on the demilitarization of the 95% rocket cruiser Ukraina, whose hull and turbines will be allowed for sale.
  1. The current state of the Navy is temporary: construction of at least one corvette of the project 58250 (Vladimir the Great), four Gyurza-type missile boats, two assault assault boats of the Centaur type, an agreement has been reached to transfer to Ukraine at least two American patrol boats of the type «Island». In the future, the next 10-15 years, with funding available, it is possible to build another 1-2 corvettes, a dozen different boats. Do not give up and demand to return captured by Russia ships.
  2. Crimea was the main base of the fleet and the loss of control over the peninsula meant the loss of virtually the entire infrastructure of management and support.
  3. Changing the structure of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces requires new approaches to fleet management and a new infrastructure, which in any case will have to be created.
  4. Today Ochakov is one of the main bases of the fleet, so the creation of a control center in this city looks logical. According to the media in Ochakov, the command center of the Navy will work, allowing to maintain communication with all Navy ships, coordinate the work of coastal services, special operations forces.

What is being built - what will it be?

The construction started is only the first stage of the work of American specialists. After completion of the work on the operational control center, a program will be implemented for the creation (partly modernization, partly construction) of repair shops for servicing ships. Finish the project by equipping the perimeter. As a result, the Navy VSU will have at its disposal a fairly modern naval base - the first such facility built "from scratch" from the moment of independence of Ukraine.
The created facility can be used (and will be used) including as a training and training center - the military has already stated that its potential has been requested for the annual international exercises Sea Breeze.
The base in Ochakovo is of practical importance, because the city (and the Mykolayiv region) is concentrated considerable forces of the Navy, and the existing infrastructure does not meet the size of its grouping (not to mention the prospects for its increase). In particular, five brigades of surface ships, 29 naval reconnaissance units, 84 arsenals of mine and torpedo armament are located in Ochakovvedislotsiruyutsya. The city of Nikolayev is home to 198 training centers of the Navy, the headquarters of the 406 artillery brigade, 36 brigade of the Marine Corps, and 10 separate naval aviation brigade.
The development of the base in Ochakov will allow receiving and servicing not only ships of its fleet, but also ships, for example, of countries participating in international exercises.

Reaction of the Russian Federation

Naturally, the Russian media reacted quite sharply to the beginning of the construction. Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee Yury Shvytkin even stated that "This entails a certain escalation of tension and once again confirms that the Americans are using Ukraine as a springboard for a possible aggression against our country." He is echoed by Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security Franz Klintsevich, who decided to assess the construction of the center for compliance with Ukrainian legislation (!), And, naturally, found problems.
"Comrade Azarov", whose words quotes the website of the said committee, "This is a further step towards worsening the already bad relations between Ukraine and Russia" did not stand aside either. The head of the Comitet of Salvation (* is written in the original) of Ukraine.
Zhirinovsky on the air of "Russia-1" in his style promised to "drown in the sea" and destroy the "creatures" of Americans. However, this is a lyric. Zhirinovsky clearly aged and it's harder for him to look believable.

Variants of the answer of Ukraine

The reaction of the Ukrainian side to the hysteria of the Russian Federation is rather restrained: the SPU's speakers note that the construction is conducted in full compliance with Ukrainian legislation.
But the second message, an attempt to talk about the fact that there will be no ships of other states on the base, is unnecessary, in my opinion. This is rather an awkward attempt to respond to Russian hysteria in the press. The question is: should we try to smooth its level?
Against the backdrop of the annexation of the Crimea and the war in the east of Ukraine, the speakers of the security agencies least of all should take care of the tranquility of the Russian politician and philistine.
An adequate response can be formulated like this: Ukraine builds up its fleet infrastructure in accordance with its legislation and its interests. How it will be used and which ships will enter the base - the internal business of Ukraine and its partners in ensuring security in the Black Sea basin. The operational management center in Ochakov will be useful for ensuring security in the process of regaining control over the Crimea. Moreover, it will become the basis for the construction of a new infrastructure for the Navy APU, including in the territory of the peninsula after its liberation from the occupation forces.
Greater Russia is not necessary to know.
Ukraine starting over, writer's note : I would simply offer my thoughts,  that much within the thoughts as expressed humorously perhaps by Dennis Kazan, that Ukraine makes it's own decisions what it will do, it's interested in Nato alliance, but that is not a "make or break" type of  goal for the moment, I presume, they want to stabilize a situation wherein they came under an unexpected harsh attack that originated from whom they viewed as a traditionally aligned geopolitical entity.

Are  the shameful  far Right Rallies gone wrong in USA, all that different from some of the tawdry Titushki stuff happening in Ukraine in 2012/2013 perhaps ?  Weren't they (Ukraine ) starting to see  a lot of violence at political events in early 11, 12, 2013? They didn't see an equivalent level of counter protesters, as far as I know of

this (top of my writing article herein ) photo of mine from Sevastopol approximately January 6th, 2014 outlines the potential/ hypothetical  advent of the \\ speculative deal between the Russian military and the Orthodox religious orders to segregate Crimea as a purely Russian, Christian   enclave. In recent days (of 2017 in occupied Crimea ) they have accelerated the process of religious cleansing, arresting, fining Jehovah's Witness people, Muslims and anyone else who doesn't adhere to "State Religion"  But does this religious Procession in Sevastopol  seem vaguely reminiscent of Klu Klux Klan garb? Whatever happened to the Hari Krishna sect that was so active in Simferopol ? They were kind of a curious feature before the seizure of Crimea  < that's an entire media piece that never got written' they probably moved into Ukraine, or went to India, or  in some fashion got out of there.... A big Hari Krishna / Hindu Temple group has always been present in Dnipro .

Are right wing elements, including  embedded Russian Nationalists who live in USA , going to begin a struggle conjoined to the   Right wing racists in a county by county effort to effectively secede from the Federal Government in Washington? And if President Trump doesn't conform to the Proto-Fascist model , despite the fig leaf expulsion of Mister Bannon, would the RU Psy division start to pressure him? After all , the Kremlin got him elected, boosted his financial position inexorably : All that they really want,  is to get the green light that Crimea is theirs, they'd be more than happy to walk away from the wasted regions of war torn Donbas. Economically & Strategically, both for Ukraine and RU federation, Crimea is the Pearl of the Black Sea, for so many different reasons,  it's not like some sort of geopolitical "loose change" If the Kremlin gave the signal the forces converged above Mariupol could push through Mariupol and take Berdyansk in a couple days, and from there it's all flat level territory to the Crimean causeways across the marshes. Yet that would mean open war and create an extremely awkward situation for Donald Trump. We'd be minutes , hours away from the Third World War  #notworthit how much gas and oil resources are within the shallows of  the sea of Azov still seems a bit of a mystery. With the need for localized energy resources , contrasted by the threats posed by global warming, and the sinister component of Nuclear winter. We all should worry, at least a little about things there, my impression is that it's not being viewed as  frozen conflict by Ukraine.

yet I must apologize for perhaps a tone of zealousness about the Crimea, in that time before the seizure,  people's minds were being propagandized then quite heavily , the "I woke up in another country" argument was a well laid theme by Russian TV and internet dominated channels

everybody makes mistakes and regrettably,  I seem to have succumbed to  callousness in this post to speculatively align Russians living in USA with white Nationalist hate groups , I apologize. it is inappropriate.  We all make mistakes, life is about knowing how to fix your mistakes and move on.

Most Russians are entirely too smart to openly associate with extremists , and their sympathies don't typically align with such racial bigotry , either Ukraine people or  Russian.
Such racial hatreds aren't inbred to their culture, in fact, they can be sympathetic to the downtrodden.
My buddy,  Leonid Agutin seems to evoke that spirit if you can watch, listen to the 41 minute mark of this long concert he performed at Crocus  , he is expressing compassion for the dark skinned person (Crocus is the real estate development that Trump's friend Agalarov put together, and probably where they held his much vaunted Miss Universe Pageant)

and even Sputnik publicized the sentiment expressed by the Gubernator :
https://sputniknews.com/politics/201708191056595309-arnold-schwarzenegger-slams-trump-over-charlottesville-response/
Based upon my experience, Ukraine simply don't pay too much attention to the far right, they often seem to view them mostly as badly educated fools who don't have much money to spend.

Well it's true that the author of Ukraine Starting Over hasn't yet seen his Congressional subpoena to testify about the 2016 election hacking (why couldn't he have stopped it, when he knew what he knew in 2015 ,  about the situation in 2010... (wherein the somewhat corrupt , yet reasonably competent shoo-in candidate, Yulia Tymoshenko was upset by her rival, the Russian Backed candidate, Mister Yanukovych , yet it's well known that he (Yanukovych ) was perhaps a Russian deep state "made man" in that,  he was elevated into the Communist Party by Alexey Leonov and now, for some odd reason, that former "fact" appears to have been edited out,  from Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexey_Leonov ) Maybe due to the fact that the entity managing Mister Leonov's account on Wikipedia, simply didn't want that publicized?

And why nobody at State would listen to his, (my )  tersely worded emails, warning  in the first week of 2014 that it felt like the Russians were up to something in Crimea...I noticed how dark and quiet it had gotten, like as if everybody had left town for New Year, and all the lights were out in most places around the city center < And how ignoring that cataclysmic event,
could lead to the current disarray in Washington ?

It is potentially quite possible that all of the arrangements regarding North Korea's acquisition of ICBM grade Missile launching technology was finalized late last winter , over drinks at "Misha Blahera" (formerly and still, to this day, one of Ukraine's 100 best restaurants:   it is located underground, down some steps off  Viacheslava Lypynskoho Street, in Dnipropetrovsk (Dnipro) (directly opposite the huge Stiletto heel shoe sculpture at
.

I know one the long term waiters there at Misha Blahera , the tallish , curly haired , friendly young guy (he  lost a lot of weight recently and looks much better now), he  spoke to me of the Chinese appearing man , who spoke fluent Russian yakking it up with one of the mid level managers at the missile manufacturing plant based in Dnipro.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-northkorea-missiles-report-kim-idUSKCN1AV0FA
He confirmed that,  it that it was was this nice looking older man on the left of the photo of the Reuter's story (with the pointer stick)  who was at the restaurant late last winter in the company of a nice looking interpreter from Lugansk  Ukraine, they ordering drinks, desserts  and making lots of interesting jokes in Russian. The last time that I ate there , with a close friend Gennady Kernes was at the table next to me,  with some people from Interpipe (not that I have the remotest iota of information that he was involved , in any way ,  with DPRK's acquisition if ICBM Tech, my point is that it's the ultimate place to hang out in a chill place, with awesome food at a super decent price and do business, enjoy an evening , there is a reason they don't even advertise the restaurant from the street, via signage : It's Ukraine! (I heard that they save money by not paying for a signage)
And I have absolutely no credible information that DPRK actually got their ICBM missiles from the Dnipro plants. One would have to do detailed overviews of the "night shift operations" of the Yuzhmash plant's http://www.yuzhmash.com  overtime sheets, going back 2 or even 3 years, coupled with extensive reviews of inventory records and billing sheets< It is a huge project, and they are a business, they need to get paid for that sort of stuff, it can't all get done for free. In any case, their economic damage is worse than ours. I was hoping to help them win heavy lifting launch projects for the space tractor system that some of the planetary defense forces are white boarding, but this sketchy, bad Public Relations about being a back door for DPRK missile program is a serious etback to that aspiration.

But those fictional, yet surprisingly  large shipments of Toilet Paper from Ukraine to Finland , and then going all of  the way across Russia, by train to the DPRK trade zone where they desperately need good quality toilet paper are what , suspicious.?  It's a really long journey for a big load of toilet paper....

Those rocket motors deprived of their fuel aren't actually that much different by weight and volume than toilet paper, it's simply that one goes up then down, and one only goes down, in it's usage. And of course it's still speculation about what transpired on the Finland /Russian border late last winter when that rather large load of toilet paper made it's fifth International border crossing,
for one thing, why was the Russian border station's toilet for the border guards simply out of toilet paper for 3-4 days before the alleged crossing of the rocket motor parts?  (buried in the huge load of toilet paper )
And did the long distance Kazakh trucker truly say to the Russian border guard "friend, it's a lot back there, do you need some? If so, take it, there are many rolls, we have gone into one pallet for ourselves, take what you need"

SO what is the joke bouncing about in the KGB class of 2017 these days? It is that while Trump will Make America Great Again (or make Russia Great again, as you wish) that Pence will "Make America Straight Again" #2020

Not that I endorse "the Mike" in any way, shape or form / but at least his political credentials are more aligned with the vaguest semblance that exists within the  realm of normal. yet it appears that the Donald has struck a bargain somehow with the higher powers, he isn't afraid of them and , like me he can glance briefly at the eclipsed sun directly,  without the protective glasses. He won't admit that he was bullied, and that he found success when he became one,  derived somehow by his nature as a defensive mechanism. I can understand that, while I don't endorse him, I try to understand. It's OK, it is okay for now: I have my problems, you have yours mister president of our United States. Take care and don't let the VP, mister Putin tweak you too harshly with the cleverly integrated mitochondrial powered devices implanted and controlled by the hypothetically activated subsonic electromagnetic signals that caused you to shove the Montenegro Prime minister, so rudely to the side during the NATO meeting. I think that you can fix that in some way,  and find a way to make friends with him. I hope that you can do it. Worse things happen than President Trump. He'll be on the ascendant for a while now, I suspect. At least ,  before they start to call their bets on your presidency.
