A Fisherman's Tale ?

However the followers of the situation in Ukraine may perceive things, one is never far from the perception that the other shoe is going to drop. While it seems that Rex Tillerson  has made nice with the Folks in Kiev, reaffirmed America's commitment to the recovery of Ukraine's territorial integrity, via  the somewhat rough and challenging roadmap to Peace,  outlined in the Minsk accords, it's anyone's guess how things can go forward.

For one thing, there is still a chance for some masterful swoop towards a conclusion, a cessation of hostility, yet that requires every side to the conflict to reveal , admit their utmost vulnerabilities politically, strategically. That is a questionably tall order for the moment.
It perhaps  harkens to me,  a thought to a remnant of the earlier culture of our grandparents, the TV era,  of the 1960's Andy Griffith show,
the character of Gomer Pyle, THE naive, SIMPLE MINDED MECHANIC, who barely knew more than how to fill a car with gas,  who'd be awestruck by the most simple of things and say "SHAZAM!"

 it could be Like some fisherman's account of reeling in "the big one", that inside the belly of that finned behemoth , was found the key to Peace, an end to the warfare.

as the extremely sophisticated Diplomatic and strategic thinkers sharpen their pencils and prepare their white papers of options and consequences required to achieve the  Peace in Ukraine ,

could a countryfied, backward natured,  regular guy just simply figure something out that works? It's not likely to happen, yet some sort of "Shazam! " moment is still vaguely possible, wherein people would say "Holy ____! " "how did that happen? it's impossible !! "

Unfortunately , I see no way now, wherein  all of the aggrieved, affected  parties could be satisfied with an  outcome .

For sure, there is still no atonement for the shooting down of MH17, and while I lack the resources to delve into it, does one of  these several Russian shell companies parked in the Netherlands that devolve from Bayrock Group  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayrock_Group have some or any connections with the Passengers manifest of MH17 ?

It is easy enough to write off that horrible incident to sheer human ineptitude,  yet did the MH17 flight really need to deviate deeper into the war zone to avoid heavy weather on it's right flank ? Of course due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, many layers of detail have been obscured, made opaque.
