So, let me get this straight, mostly upper class, upper middle class, and working class white people elected Mister Trump, in the hopes that their situation would improve under his presidency. Trump admires Mister Putin for being a "strong man" Putin handles dissent, like the dog catcher handles loose dogs.  Now as much as I admire Ed Snowden, if I was he, I'd be getting nervous every time I see a snow plow approaching me on Moscow's chilly winter streets. I watched his fascinating interview with Katie Couric, and he's quite deftly eloquent and unabashed. It's not for me to pass judgement , one way or the other about what he did.   Attached is a photo of mine, fresh off the airplane, mid December, 2013. I actually had no idea a total revolutionary process was underway there, I just stumbled into it It is hard to say if the taint of Western Vulture Capitalism will swoop quietly in to enable Russian Bond payments, for the sake of richer spoils on the back end of the war in Ukraine. It could be a bad bet, a Karmically bad good bet. I sure would not want to be a part of saving the Russian elite's bacon for a paltry 20 or even 50% potential profit. The war making in Ukraine is being horrendously executed by the war making forces of Russia , and it's only likely going to get worse. Presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelenskiy.  I am motivated to feel positive thoughts about it, yet I'm missing feeling the mood on the Metro, bumping into my friends on the bus and on the street. Western life is so socially aseptic these days...I miss that peaceful, easy feeling of Ukraine. Despite the aspect of a terrible war, there was unity and a collective vanguard of mutual supportiveness. It's possible that I bumped into the guy (Zelenskiy ) in 2012 or something like that, at the base of the steps where people smoked Ciggies , outside of a small popular bar called "Reporter " in  Dnipro . I remember this guy (that looked, sounded  like him) trying to figure me out,  he  made a rather  uncouth reference about women in general, to which a lady responded "I know English, and I am not a (Russian female person of dubious character).
