The Hidden Stories of Ukraine

Hello, Heavy New Beers to my few followers on the blog

Who would have thought that this dumpy little Russian Naval base would become the "Sum of All Fears" in 2013/ 2022 ?

I didn't, certainly not. I actually went to the

National Preserve of Tauric Chersonesos

Херсонес Таврический on New Year's day, 2014 in Sevastopol Crimea (and actually I didn't pay admission, there wasn't an attendant at the gate. That fact alone could land me a 20 year prison sentence in Siberia, but maybe I can sew clothes with Navalny or something like that...

A lot of News about Ukraine lately, Ukraine getting into high alert due to news of imminent invasion, problem for Ukraine visa vis Russia its that it's such a vast border. Now that invasion threat includes Belarus. Honestly, any reasonably educated, 12 years older youth could explain that Ukraine's National defense is much more easy if Belarus, as an invasion platform is simply neutralized, at least somewhat, but that still leaves the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv regions, along with the breached borders of Luhansk, Donetsk Oblasts totally open more or less to be a forward position in an invasion scenario.

I will relate in this updated post who I most certainly know is extremely busy this weekend of February 12 and 13, 2022. Has to be that Alexander Vindman is in the thick of things relating to the National Defense of Ukraine (and the USA) for he is a fully versed in "deconfliction Hotlines" as he worked out those arrangements in the Syrian conflict. It is one of the more funny moments from his Book, "Hare Right Matters" the Russian Generals seemingly astounded that this  person they personally knew was front and center, as a representative of the US military, at the highest level. He continues to be a highly underestimated component of the Crisis in Ukraine's potential to de-escalate. He also rewrote the book on the potentials for a Stryker Brigade in active warfare situations. Basically, he is a friendly man who knows his business inside out and he can see the trees within the forest.

Words have been spoken about Ukraine's problems with it's corruption (By The Western powers)

what few people could appreciate, without actually talking to people in Working class bars in Ukraine, is that many persons from Ukraine, idealistic, Nationalistic persons, got Western training 10or 15 years ago it started , this education in Judiciary work/ reform.

This manufactured for the media issue ,  of corruption reform being needed for Ukraine,

it's so 5 or 6 , 8 years ago, they had all the tools, the young smart, motivated  and trained , educated  young people back then in the first year or 2 ,  after the overthrow of the Yanukovych regime.

That one simple, unequivocally and in my opinion,  untenable fact, that  has been vastly overlooked in the media/ News cycles, both from the far Left and the Far right (and the Center) .

All the tools, on the ground , trained assets for Judicial reform necessary,  needed   to combat the worst of corruption in Ukraine were fully present, 6 or 7 years ago.  (along with the internal/ external media assets )

While it is entirely,  or probably true,  that there were constraints for those individuals to step in to do the work, and there is always this dialectic about "stepping in versus stepping out" In western code language, Stepping away, stepping off means "Go away" stepping out means "explore" Stepping in, means go forth (hopefully without bias, without that tendency to lunge toward a conclusion in an equation that is largely devoid, of empirical evidence)

so humbly, I submit that his is the entirely missing narrative in the media about Ukraine's issue with corruption: all of the tools , or most of them were in place, the nation of Ukraine does have a reform minded president (albeit, probably  with a highly Nationalistic wife) and generally the president off Ukraine is pretty much, an easy going kind of man, who is highly motivated to support the many small fishes in the big Ukraine pond, and a man who also wishes to cement his standing in the Nation's history as a person that built the Nation into a better place, a man who contested the pressures of a vastly better positioned military, who preserved the National position between many powerful international forces and influences within an incredibly turbulent historical period

I have been thinking lately, and it is , quite honestly difficult for me just now, not only about my own safety, but my family, friends, comrades, thinking about Pavel Sheremet, my friend killed in a car bmb assassination in Kyiv Ukraine in July 2016, just outside my most favorite restaurant, what is it "True Burger" just opposite MacDonald's or something like that. Maybe I digress. Yet I was inadvertantly connected to things, people, situations that Boris Nemtsov was involved with, things that I feel actually triggered his killing on Red Square. Really , I don't worry. It is all random stuff. I do know some things that he was doing, things that may have led to his death. Why is it that killings on Russia are often linked with the activity of a snow plow ? The Total  Exec's flight , there was a snow plow involved within the event. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/oct/21/total-oil-ceo-christophe-de-margeriekilled-in-moscow-plane-crash-say-reports

Boris Nemtsov's killing, had a snow plow within the narrative, it is a fact, and something pretty Hinkey about that.

Pavel Sheremet's killing did not have a snow plow within the narrative, yet the outlines of the events are not dissimilar in nature. So maybe I don't really care at this point in time, probably your people could take me if they wanted to do that, but you cannot take my words from me about all of this

the Iranian National Guard seems to have had a clear interest in the Baku Hotel development in an unpromising sector of Baku, Azerbaijan, yet why did they knowingly make a bad business deal? And I still continue to question the loss of the Ukraine International Airline's flight out of Tehran about 13 months ago that killed a person  that I also was familiar and friendly with . I cannot picture what his soul and heart and feelings are aligned with  just now in the ephemeral narrative , the only thing that I can remember,  is our friendly, mutually supportive conversations in the moment, some years before, so it is hard for me, because I have lost people that I know, respected, liked in the reality. It is something that I do not view as a war, but an unfortunate reality in all.

It could be that Irainain Intelligence had information about a particular person on the flight that may have had specific information about Iran's Nuclear weapon development program, and that Iran's military command and control apparatus made an unfortunate decision to stop the entire flight (murder every person onboard)  . It was a socially unpopular event within Iran. Ukraine was viewed as a neutral or friendly nation at the time, still is seen that way, for they are also quietly observant of the situation for Ukraine's Tatar population.

As I understand it, they were using missile systems provided by the Russian Federation (which does not imply, that I am lunging towards any conclusion based upon supposition without any real evidence)

Because when you enter even obliquely , into this game of smoke and mirrors, even vaguely , you realize that there can be no winner. At best perhaps you can be tolerated as a spectator, an intermediary , yet the deeper you fall into the pit, you have to accept that thought that maybe, just maybe, you had a very small chance to save a few friends for that hope to battle just a few more days, weeks, years to say a few more self deprecating jokes, ask just one more person what they really feel is true within this vastly complicated world that we live within. And that is what I struggle with in this personal narrative about my version of Ukraine starting over, can it start over, does it want t start over? Can Ukraine think outside the box, circle, think inside the box of starting over? These are perhaps similar to the many issues that the United States of America was grappling with in maybe the late 1700's, and it is a conundrum. I probably will not live toes the outcome of the geopolitical equations rumbling within the gut of Europe, but I have had indigestion and anxiety all of the last week, nothing seems right, wrong, nothing is very certain, everything is in question. Neither side is "up for grabs" but either side is hopefully "open for Offers" Yet I am just really sad, because I lost people that I was close with in all this, and I have not gained people, but at least I have helped a few people, and for me, that is enough for now. All the best and stay true to your ideals, my few followers
