If we were to compare this entire conflict between Ukraine, Russia to a bar fight or something, we all know that there is a code of conduct, it's Ok to kick and punch, but not vicious kicks when the other guy is down, it's not OK for 6 guys to beat on one guy, and so on.
You simply don't mess with people's kids. It is simply over the line. You won't be able to see that person who viciously kicked you next Friday night at the bar or Night Club . Not without turning it into a bigger fight. Please find a way to return the lad unharmed. We can tell you how to call the plumber who can find the cache of diamonds plugging the sewer, or something like that...
All of last week when I had read that this young fellow had got lured into Gomel, Belarus via a vk.com (Russian Facebook) honey trap, it threw me off. I had struggled with some way to search for a way out of this situation. Now I feel guilty for perhaps acting too late.
I was going to suggest some sort of easy payment arrangement of 2 million or something like that, Nobody is the wiser, a random check of the bums scrounging the trash heap for Minsk discovers that the lad is in this motley bunch of guys, he'd done some minor infraction in Belarus like not registering to the police, got a fine imposed that he didn't have and gone to work picking the bounteous 2017 potato crop, then had a few too many drinks and got to where he didn't even have access to make a phone call, something like that....Now it's too late, simply checking the municipal dump of Minsk where the bums scrounge for the lad is off the table.
Pavlo Lazarenko, despite being broke and unemployed in his 2 million $ home could perhaps chip in on the ransom or expense reimbursements , , if we could settle this matter and return the lad.
Can't Mister Lazarenko recollect when Ukraine's border guard did him some sort of favor ?
Now I am really going to go out on a limb, something that could really get me in LOT OF TROUBLE! Yet for the chance of a safe return of this young lad, I am going to take a chance and spill the beans. Russian representative to the United Nations will them make a presentation about the incident, mentioning the special status of the Natural reserves of Sakhalin Island, how it endangered the people, the business, the biodiversity (I am a trained botanist and I read the full Sakhalin prospectus)
Then not only will Russian Federation be "Peace makers" (through force) but then be Environmental warriors, protecting the biodiversity of the Sakhalin and other regions that could be aligned with missile launches headed towards the USA. It's simply too perfect of a "wag the Dog " scenario !
More so, it allows an opening for some sort of epic late career role for Robert De Niro to enact some acting role as a mid level Russian military commander struggling to disable this missile and bring it safely to the ground, averting global war or something like that : De Niro needs work, now that his Nobu Hotel in Barbuda is totally devastated and he's pledged to help the Island rebuild itself
Maybe even Val Kilmer will want to do an anchor performance from his team effort with De Niro in Heat and play some sort of commander in Mariupol, fending off a simultaneous Russian separatists advance in a vain attempt to grab the land bridge , perhaps some sort of reverse bank robbery scene in Berdyiansk central square teamed up with a loose interpretation of Nadia Savhenko?
And could Russia easily over power DPRK forces ? well it's a question if they wanted to fight at all, given the Nuclear fire power at Russian disposal >If Kim is gone , wouldn't they simply go to the shock factor of confronting the fact of all his terrible crimes and stealing ???
And would President Trump oppose a Russian DPRK invasion ? Why would he want to. \\? Not that I like the guy, but his Presidency potentially presents unique opportunity to fix vexing issues. As to cooperation on preventing future election hacking, Putin and Trump have plenty of non digital tools to enable their future cooperation.....
He could simply say "We aren't going to spend a dime on the situation. DPRK fired a nuclear missile that landed on RU territory, capable of wiping out most of the entire Island . He would say that the USA stands by the efforts of the Russian Federation to secure the territory of DPRK from future Nuclear attacks. The awkward evidence of the Game boy controller running the avionics of the rogue missile headed for Anchorage, Kodiak, Dutch Harbor or something like that, that the controller was registered to the personal shopper of Dennis Rodman... Kim will be spotted periodically at Jimmy Buffet concerts with a ragtag group of eclectic free living type hangers on posing as artists and writers, musicians. THE DPRK will become de-nuclearized and the power equation will normalize in ASIA, call me crazy, it's certain that I am.. But now maybe I worry that my extrapolation of the obvious will void the scenario, and ruining the perfect play will be quite expensive for me.
This would all then "grease the ways" for launching the ship of Crimean annexation recognition. It would all work within a highly choreographed scenario. I would be in a kayak going into the eye of the hurricane (and I'm not that proficient at the eskimo roll) It's a lot of risk for me to detail this scenario....
So at what exact moment could this entirely wild scenario unfurl?

Or they could try to fit in both, but that's really asking for a miracle !! Well indeed it's true that I knew their Rolling Stones manager, a kind mannered, intense and sometimes abusive, fierce personality yet someone who took a time to relate to a lowly dishwasher and ask about his situation, help him along the road. I think of him as one of my mentors.

Perhaps (Russia )they'd try to use the confusion of the moment to also grab the land bridge to Crimea, while nobody is really paying attention to the somewhat more pertinent back story , a blatant war footing seizure of the entire shoreline of the sea of Azov, all the way to Crimea.
It could be terribly awkward and perhaps a sign of the end of Mister {Putin's reign to risk 2 fronts of war, 3 counting Syria) It'd be hard for Ukraine, cause a lot of turmoil...

With RU federation air support, aggressive blitzkrieg style assaults upon the basic yet still outmatched Ukraine defense apparatus, it is still essentially a ten to one ration or more, before it was 85 to 1 type equation (in capitol expenditures, gold, Pounds, Euro's) .

Dennis, for all his oddities, is our secret super Hero of the week, and he's taking a lot more risks than I. For one I could simply get expelled from the secret dishwasher cabal.
