It is uncanny the way that the USA news cycle is being driven via referencing about Ukraine for the last 2 years: As an indirect example, of the complicated media narrative today, about the Benghazi incident in Libya , I can reference a direct source that assets were acquired , property, real estate in Central Ukraine by persons , entities directly affiliated with the Libyan Government (Many years ago).
This was information about Libyan investments into Ukraine via a one to one, private conversation, with a Ukraine person directly connected with the transaction of these strategic and mundane property assets; this other person was not wanting any thing from me, just being a friendly host.

While it's true that Jimmy Carter had got his brother's Billy's hand caught in the Libyan Honey pot, that was small potatoes . For Ukraine, Libya was certainly a quiet cash cow connection, during those many years when hard investment cash was scarce in their economy.
But all of that vaguely relevant speculation to the side, in reference to the post's title, I had a session with some musicians in a private quarter, and a person I'd thought to be a friend of the band started riffing about "A Black Hole In The Backyard" now this sounds like some arcane reference to some weird paranormal reality (Which Eastern Ukraine certainly is One of them) but at the end of this word jive, this artist converted the narrative to a "Black rabbit in the Backyard" It's an incredibly sophisticated allegory about perception. Due to respect for the un-named artist, and also due to the relative obscurity of this talent, I won't post any link to their profile> I had no idea that the person was a somebody at the moment, yet I could tell : I was the real amateur in the artistic mix, but it was great to be there. Certainly any attempt to attain "perspective" about Ukraine takes a great deal of work in these times, one has to be a realist, and the attempt to gain perspective will cost daily, weekly work. Educated, comfortable, ostensibly erudite Americans have asked , postulated "Why should we care about Ukraine" and that leaves me in the dire circumstances of fumbling for am appropriate diplomatic response.

on the Novichok thing, is it possible that the Russian explanation is slightly awkward ? that the 2 fairly scary looking Novichok disbursing individuals were on some sort of awkwardly romantic holiday in Salisbury? Or possibly they were conducting a glancing assessment of the highly repressed UK government's secret plan to develop the oil and gas reserve in the area of Gatwick England, as they (Britain) subtly tries to squirm out from the regulatory auspices of the European Union ?
Indeed, if Russian Federation were to advance this awkwardly romantic theory about the 2 men's visit, it could advance several narratives . !, that Russia is deferential towards the private matters of vacationing men. 2, that no cartoon character will be left behind, that their media narrative will support any fairly tale. Well it seems to be that either I led the news cycle in my analysis, or it was coming down the pike, one way or the other....

The 2104 MH17 incident that targeted a civilian flight, with Hundreds of innocent people onboard is certainly a far more egregious crime than poisoning a former spy with nerve gas, yet the press cycle has lost perspective apparently, and the larger crime continues to go unpunished.

One late night during that period, by chance, I had met Nadia Savchenko, however briefly just before all this drama erupted around her, and we (she and I ) had a genuine sense of bonding: she is a troubled realist, not a fantasy chaser like myself. There was a romance of the moment in time and history, not between us, just respect, acknowledgment of each other as diversely different people. in all of her later epic drama of capture, trial, prison after that, then becoming a Hero of the Nation, now once again caught in the spider web of intrigue unfortunately. Yes, for sure she probably did drank the Kool_Aid (bad English ) Her Patriotism for Ukraine and her loyalty to her country was used via triggers inserted in her thinking whilst she was in that long 2 year captivity. It is as clear as the day break that she was manipulated by her interaction with
the Russian Separatist's, she followed enough of their twisted logic.
As I see it , she does suffer a classic form of Stockholm Syndrome . My Nationalist friends have openly trashed her ; I won't get too sad about it, at the moment I assume that Ukraine treats her with deference and respect, she understands prison regimen. She has perhaps the most strangest personal narrative of any military officer in the entire world today. She has been pushed down into the cold waters of hard survival 3 times now. She will become very strong and significant if she can emerge from the third drowning. It is hard to survive a trial of cold apparatus. Perhaps this is her distinction from Joan of Arc, not a burning by fire, but a freezing by ices. Certainly the public narrative in Ukraine has apparently frozen her like Han Solo in one of those Star Wars episodes, and possibly , her natural actor temperament would appreciate the comparison to Harrison Ford. Now I have personally tried to make the elevator pitch to get Val Kilmer , via his fascination with Mark Twain to take an interest in her, develop a Cinematic project, since Mark Twain , his sole biography had been written about Joan of Arc. I won't post the photo of me and Val Kilmer, like a lot of my photos with celebrity, it's a really bad photo, something to go on the burn pile. Strangely, or not, so much, this week I spent reflecting on the MH17 tragedy. And I had a simple, unequivocal epiphany. That while the many conspiracy theories of MH17's downing are attractive, stepping outside the inexplicably odd numerology surrounding Malaysia Airline's flight MH17, perhaps it is a time to call the spade out as the spade? I have searched cursorily, into the online explanations, yet not seen how the Joint Investigation task force has emphasized 1 simple point of speculation. Did the Russian forces, while they were breaching Ukraine's Eastern border in summer 2014, actually forwardly emplace Electronic Warfare countermeasure units that could have impeded the 3 part triad of the BUK launcher system ? In other words, could one hand have failed to be in communication with the other ?
Now I think that the Joint investigation Task Force should track down all the random variants relating to Ukraine's air traffic control system at that moment in time. That component of the wide picture of events was my individual investigation effort's to ascertain a potential submenu of data points. Essentially, I was trying to advocate for an alternate set of investigative tools and to boil it down to raw information, were the people involved in the tragedy still alive?

THE MH17 , like all civilian air transport has a signal beacon that says (Hey guys, I am Malaysian Airlines civilian air transport flight bound for Kuala Lampur ) These BUK systems are deployed across a battle zone in separated areas, such that the entire system cannot be eliminated with one or 2 aerial bombs, or artillery strikes.
If one were to take the 2 minutes to look at some online photos of the Russian electronic warfare jamming gear, these are smaller types of units that transport like a smaller supply trailer, once on the ground , those electronic war systems once engaged to their tasks, they then open their ears and noses and do output of electronic signal jamming/ override.
Potentially, this explanation is the more easy theory of ineptitude for the tragic airplane downing that did happen in Ukraine's Eastern conflict zone in July of 2014. Being outside the jail in Kiev, places her once again, at risk. She assumed a tremendous and unbelievable personal risk to engage in the process of prisoner of war exchanges. For her to personally walk into those Prison places of Eastern Ukraine , totally controlled by Russian backed forces, to check on the welfare and general personal health, of those Prisoner of War captives
How Ironic for a brave soldier to be held in a Prison situated within their National territory, a prison built by his own Nation, being held by mercenaries and sadistic fanatics backed and supported by a foreign (Russian) government. The dystopian future is thought to be a fictional reference, it wasn't fiction over these last 4 years. To add in the hosting of a World Cup football event, whilst maintain this grip from Hell within the Nation of Ukraine, it's beyond absurd.
Some hard prisons were built into East Ukraine, of course the West has similar places. Many of us personally involved in the conflict wish that things could go back to the summer of 2013, an odd and possibly prime year. Russia achieved a stupendous feat to hack the 2016 US Presidential election, yet I feel they begin to doubt if it was really worth it, for them. They spent so little hard money in comparison to the vast expenditure of the Clinton/Trump campaigns. I'd guess it was about or much less than 1 penny on the dollar. Crimea is such a massive prize, consolidating the seizure of it's territory was worth every penny that was spent and ten times more. Or 1000 times more, yet was it a brilliant investment or will it become a crushing disaster for Russian Federation ?
Ukraine cannot now fully formulate their total political, and economic response if Crimea becomes reintegrated to Ukraine with a purportedly large base of Russian centric voters, many people that did naturally favor Ukraine have gone to Ukraine in order to live more safely, but that has been hard as they left homes, apartments, lives, some going to the West where Russian is not the language, some going to Kiev, Europe, all such places much more expensive for them.
if it' was then only 35%Pro Russia, that is roughly equal to President Trump's influence in USA. This is a lot to digest, as much as most Americans still continue to think that Ukraine is Russia , or that Xinjiang China likes being controlled by the People's Liberation Army.
