Ukraine Starting Over

People on the Metro have started to head and from the Kiev train station by now, after a night of bemused avoidance of Halloween stupidity and excess partying, the charade of it all, they got theirs before ours : it's a middle and upper class exercise ,  a dark walk on the wild side )) it's looking super awkward these days, not long before President Obama can relax and rest on his Laurels, Mister Putin on the other hand.....at the least, he has a lot of explaining to do ! US special forces will operate opposite Russian special forces in Syria ? it is like the Bad News Bears engages with Operation Home Alone II ? or Dag the WOG ? From news of Russian subs prowling trans-Oceanic communication cables, to the fuzzy, and obliquely,  ultimate goals in supporting a lame, nepotistically instated dictator like Assad, a Dentist ! it's all a crazy 8 of intrigue! But where is the periscope more hotter, who is going to have the most fun this weekend / ? it's all about wh...

I'm representing Marlon Brando this evening and he has asked me to tell you … that he very regretfully cannot accept this very generous award. Maybe he was frustrated that a lot of people were dying over a money game ? now these are "declassified files" but really I am surprised, I had no idea so much hard cash was flowing into Vietnam  wasn't it all like "money Ball" ??? there were advisors from USSR, there, keeping tabs on all this gear, yes ? didn't they "win" ? well, sort of actually, Capitalism appears to have won the days, but maybe not the nights ! but is Russian forces really going to grab the land bridge, r...

Now who wants to make a war on such nice people ? I  really don't get it why it all went down like this  ! it totally isn't very nice can't    Russia   simply return control to the borders  of Ukraine, to Ukraine ! or is it more complicated ? what are the deals within deals revolving around Crimea    ? and who is gonna  make a money from that ? will all the hurt people actually ever get anything ? Monuments to the dead don't have much life to them at the end of the day, we all have to admit some excess paranoia, fears about China , Russia , fears about every part of the world we don't understand, but why bother losing sleep ? why  do we  get caught in all this mumbo Jumbo  ? five years ago, this guy complained to me : quite literally about Yanukovych "This President is not good for our military " any people have something against the art of Peace ? Peace comes through honesty and transparency ...

smart, educated, radicalized, they will win, sort of .. if Ukraine's economy does better than Russia, people will be jealous. and they did win, as hard as it was, the Metro keeps going, people keep living, loving, creating Chaotic posturing in the Republican party, with glowing reviews by Sarah Palin of the Donald, he's certainly working outside the box. Ms Clinton is and was a beautiful woman, conflicted, driven, dedicated and real. all that said by me, is she electable ? I can't be definitive about my feelings, but if America rejects her, will Russia beat us to the punch, will it become a womb rulership race ? if Mister Putin were, hypothetically, to enter a health battle with cancer could Russia put forth a woman leader before the USA ? Of course, Ukraine had Yulia Tymoshenko as Prime Minister ! Both Xi , Putin, each has had some recent press, trying to so some humanizing of them, bracketing them,  within a larger context, they each wore many uniforms...

Maybe this is simply another American gaffe ? Should we just apologize and say "I am sorry!" ? Is any of the hopeful presidential many elves/ Fairies  striving to win "voter approval" going to say it? something like "we sort of screwed up there........"how did it go so far ? such an atrocious waste of hard earned money ? Now I have seen it, the guys in Ukraine like to dust it up, have a good bare knuckle brawl once in a while, punish a transgressor, but they are good, honest, hard working people who enjoy life ! they gave up a massive arsenal of thermonuclear weapons, for like next to nothing. why can't we give them some respect? Now they are hurt, and I feel it every day: I don't like it to see my friends get hurt. this was a very intentional program to strip them of their defensive potential and the USA, Russia, EU, they all worked it: yet these people in Ukraine, they understand strategy their most smart people are ...

Now, more than Ever , such a cheesy Nixon Era second term campaign slogan... that was still such an era of rednecks, racists, and ultra hard core conservatives , lined up in opposition to Radicals, Socialists and Revolutionaries on the streets, college campuses across America.. Women's Liberation, Free Speech, it was madness without cell phones, back then, it was the Pay Phone booth where you made your serious conversations ..... I haven't checked the mood on the Kiev metro lately (I am missing it ! ) , I am sure it's crowded as usual, are the folks from the East of Ukraine fitting in better, or are they still feeling glum and moody ? why is being from East Ukraine different from another place ? Khirovograd ? Chernivitsy ? Regardless of your sentiments, I think it is different because your networks are disrupted, fractured. And it's true that I know guys who are fighting for Ukraine, on the front lines of the struggle for it's Independence from Russian dominat...

The Ukraine has always been an attractive breadbasket, and the problem they appear to have confronted is too many politician's hands in the cookie jar. Yanukovych was a corrupt and depraved Despot, people here find it hard to imagine how he could steal, but American's aren't totally aware of the system of corruption they had, in every layer of society. The estimates of what clan Yanukovych stole amount to 100 billion US $, and that was including his period as Governor of Donetsk. State wealth was artificially concentrated in that Oblast, through manipulations, and handily siphoned off. When you did ask the people about such things, in the past, there was a time they shrugged it off, they all noticed it, their grey economy is actually quite large, as is any nation, like the USA or anywhere else, perhaps Europe has a smaller grey economy. Russia for a while did a half decent job framing the Ukraine conflict in American's minds as a Civil War,  conflict about language...
